Somewhere Over The Rainbow

Kevin Dunn And The Regiment Of Women are a New Wave band from the the early 80s. My favorite song of theirs is an instrumental from The Judgement of Paris LP released by Armageddon Records in 1981.

This is amazing...I feel like I'm flying to Paris in the year 3000 on a rocket powered carpet with a gay man named Marcel...

I love it, too. It's a beautiful song of hope and longing. Glad it made it's way into New Wave:) Is there room for me on the carpet?

...if you want to hear the whole "Judgement of Paris" album, there is finally a reissue: coming out on May 18th, the anthology "No Great Lost: Songs, 1979-1985" contains all of "Judgement of Paris," along with important (and rare!) single, LP, and EP tracks, stretching all the way back to the Fans' stuff!
